Thermal Product Solutions Ships Two Granulation Dryers to Pharmaceutical Company
Thermal Product Solutions (TPS), a global manufacturer of thermal-processing equipment, announced the shipment of two Gruenberg Granulation Dryers. The granulation dryers were designed to meet the customer’s requirements for their pharmaceutical application. The pharmaceutical ovens were designed with the capacity to dry 70 kg of water from 348 kg of product. The product is placed on trays that are loaded into the dryer on two trucks per dryer, one wide and two deep.
The Gruenberg granulation dryers have work chamber dimensions of 39” W x 102” D x 72” L. and a maximum temperature rating of 180⁰ F. The customer required guaranteed temperature uniformity of +/- 1°C at 82° C. The granulation dryers have been designed with mirrored door hinges and controls because they will be placed side by side within the facility. This design saves on floor space and allows for efficient loading.
The granulation dryers are designed with stainless steel interiors and exteriors along with a welded liner with cove corners and plate floor providing the customer with high quality construction and durability that is ideal for a pharmaceutical environment. The air intake and exhaust utilize a powered exhaust and HEPA filters for enhanced air filtration. Each granulation dryer is equipped with Panelview 800 HMI programmable controller for advanced operator controls.
